The Klub der Töne was inspired by some of New York's best jazz clubs like the Blue Note, Jazz Standard or Birdland.
A stylish club with great atmosphere in the up and coming "Mülheim" neighborhood in the east of Cologne. Our shows are non-profit, supported by audience donations to keep them running. Check out the great design created of recycled materials, original metal beams and exposed brick walls!
Klub der Töne is my own jazz club, custom-made for the Orange Sunday show.
I literally built the entire club myself - the stage, the curtain, the bathrooms,
the bar. Also, I did the interior design and every piece of furniture or
equipment was hand-selected by me.
The club can fit up to 190 people, has great acoustics and is perfectly set up for live gigs.
The main room includes an open floor where you can sit up close to the band, and a small balcony
level where you can relax in cozy couches while taking in the scene below.
Klub der Töne is the perfect home for our non-profit show "Orange Sunday".
The yard is the perfect waiting area before the show and a great place for the audience to chill out
during the breaks between the sets.
